If you are unsure of a cheat, you can find it by enabling cheats then entering help which will give you a list of available cheats and their usage (remember the "restrict" ones need "off" to work - if in doubt, try both options to see which works!).Įdit: Also, try enabling cheats at the main menu if you can't get it to work in the game as some cheats seem to only work for some people if you do it there (I don't know why).Įdit: This post has a lot of helpful info on altering apartments Editing an individual house is still the same (unrestricted) way it always was. This cheat only applies to the apartment buildings where you get the message that you can't alter outside your apartment in buy/build mode. You may also need to use moveobjects on and buydebug on to alter or add some of the restricted items for the apartment buildings. ![]() ![]() You do need to enter testingcheatsenabled true first but I have been able to make it work with restrictbuildbuyinbuildings off (no capitals). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() At with shared storage you have to make the decision of whether you accept having the risk of a SPOF in your high availability (SAN and storage network)-I won't say that defeats the purpose of the cluster but certain lessens your HA. My take is yes, but with the expense and maintenance of shared storage the Enterprise SQL licensing is probably within a stones throw for cost. You'd also have only 1 node active while the other was fully passive, where Advanced AG's you can do a lot of operations on the secondary (read-only queries, backups, etc-of course, at the Advanced pricing too!). Of course, you would need shared storage and all the problems that brings along. My guess is probably work fine on Standard and with more than one database. Yah, the chart doesn't say one way or the other. The only other question I had that everyone missed is, does a fail-over cluster only support 1 database? because I was under the impression that using a fail-over cluster was instance level protection & therefore covered all databases. ![]() Thanks guys, I think Enterprise is going to be the way to go if we choose to use availability groups. ![]() |
